Why apply?

    We will provide financial support to assist in testing your hypothesis. This may enable you to start new research activities, to extend existing activities or to retain experienced co-workers before other means of support, e.g. public grants become available. It may also enable you to enter a major collaboration with an industrial partner (ourselves or others).
    There are two different types of grants provided to make sure your promising drug target idea can be considered even at various stages to test a promising drug target candidate. So far, 70 grants have been allocated since the start of the project in May 2009.

  • Easy online process
    Application for a grant is simple, online and will cost you only a few minutes. You do not need to write a comprehensive project plan to apply for a grant. Using our convenient online submission platform you only have to provide a short abstract and answer a few questions regarding yourself and your target to apply and start the review process. In this respect, our online submission is quite similar to handling an online submission of scientific articles to journals.

  • Fast decision
    Each application is taken seriously and processed quickly. Experienced scientists are committed to evaluate your ideas and proposals. Your submission will be reviewed carefully and on average you will receive feedback within eight weeks of the submission deadline.

The company offers access to advanced drug discovery tools, technologies and tool compounds. If your target is selected for funding, you may get the opportunity to participate in using innovative technologies such as high throughput RNAi, gene expression profiling, and high-throughput compound screening, complementary expertise and resources.
